Working with the head of Product Management you will contribute towards defining product requirements, communicating these to the engineering teams and then working closely with them to set priorities throughout the development lifecycle. You will develop a deep understanding of market conditions through competitive analysis and customer requirements.This is a fast paced and critical role in our rapidly expanding team and business. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, can expertly balance priorities between customer requirements and engineering capacity, accepts a level of ambiguity and can demonstrate a strong degree of self-sufficiency.This role is based in the Manchester, UK office and you will report directly to the head of Product Management.This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a 'start up' business within a mature and successful company, and in an exciting and growing market.We need a creative, positive and adaptable individual with strong product and technical skills and market awareness.Job ResponsibilitiesWhat will you be accountable for?You will become an expert in related product spaces, understanding key customer requirements and competitive positioning.Work closely with the Head of Product Management to deliver a compelling, competitive and dynamic roadmap.Develop a strong technical understanding of the underlying edge and cloud technologies, including those related to ML and AI.Work closely with the engineering teams providing initial priorities and then making ongoing priority calls throughout product development.Create compelling product pitches for new developments, and deliver these to the leadership team and to customers.Gather requirements from customers, research the market and competition and as a key member of the product marketing team craft compelling product solutions.Keep abreast of the latest developments in machine learning and AI through research and by developing close relationships with ecosystem partners.Job RequirementsWhat skills, experience and qualifications do I need?You will have a strong technical background and have demonstrated the ability to work alongside engineering teams.You will be an experienced product manager, or be working in an engineering role and have demonstrated sufficient aptitude to move into a marketing role.Have amazing written and oral skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to highly informed audiences.Have experience with Agile product development processes.You ideally will have had meaningful product management or engineering experience within ML or AI use cases.Self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-growth, sometimes ambiguous, and career-defining environment.Requires some domestic and international travel.You will possess strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilitiesAre you excited by those responsibilities?
