Bristol or BathThis is a unique opportunity to play an integral part in our fast-growing firm, playing a key role in our internal Audit Technical team whilst also being responsible for a client portfolio. This role will suit an ambitious Senior Audit Manager wanting to develop their commercial and client skills whilst also taking on responsibility for a key internal Audit Technical role. This role will give you the opportunity to make a real difference in our business. Your responsibilities will include:Senior Technical ManagerWork closely with the partners in the Audit Leadership team in continuing to develop our audit qualityAssist in the ongoing refining and developing of structured training for both trainees and seniors and upwards across the whole firmCoordinate and contribute to the audit technical team's responses to technical queries, researching matters and consulting as requiredMaintain a high level of technical knowledge, and identifying emerging issues which need to be communicated to the teamAssist in the development of data analytic audit techniques and the implementation of technology into our audit processesCoordinate and assist in delivering our internal quality control procedures, including our regular cold review programSenior Audit ManagerLeading, planning and delivering a broad range of Corporate and NFP audit engagementsExecuting assurance engagements from planning to completion for statutory and group reportingTo coach and develop our audit trainees into becoming accomplished business advisorsMonitoring budgets and agreeing fees for each assignmentManaging client relationships and expectationsContribute to business development activities in the local market placeWhat we are looking forTo be considered for the role, you will have: ACA/ACCA Qualification (or equivalent)Considerable experience of managing a diverse portfolio of audit clientsA proven track record of understanding and advising on technical audit issuesStrong communication and interpersonal skills that will allow you to pass on your excellent technical knowledge to our audit teams in a timely and engaging mannerA desire to contribute to the ongoing growth of our successful professional services firm and the desire to progress to Director and Partner levelPlease contact Ben Carter; Resourcing Manager or John Talbot; Partner if you would like to discuss this opportunity further.Location:BristolJob Type:AccountancyExperience:Not SpecifiedDate Posted:8/10/2019Working HoursFull or Part Time
