Our client is a major international law firm. Their employment team (one of the largest in the City) works with significant global players across a range of industries including construction, energy, natural resources, shipping, international trade and insurance on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law.

The team provides a full range of assistance on employment issues from day-to-day advisory work, to managing project and transaction work both in the UK and across the world. They advise on UK High Court disputes, often arising out of team moves, and the full suite of Employment Tribunal claims including whistleblowing and discrimination, disciplinary and grievance issues, termination, redundancy programmes, business restructuring and outsourcing. On the advisory side, they assist clients with their internal employment contracts, employee handbooks and company policies, and advise on working hours, TUPE, data protection issues, equal opportunities and all other workplace disputes. They also coordinate employment law advice from all over the world for clients as required.

Due to a busy and growing case load, they are now looking for a Senior Associate level employment lawyer to join the team.

In order to be considered for this role, you will have:
  • A strong academic background and experience from within a recognized employment practice;
  • At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in contentious and non-contentious employment work.
  • Ambition, gravitas, technical skill, patience and dedication to progress your career with the firm.
