Project Manager with substantial experience in managing software implementation projects for varied clients across many sectors is sought for an interesting and challenging project manager role. Must have experience of working for a software vendor or consultancy, have managed multiple projects for different client concurrently, have a good understanding of formal project management methodology, MS Project skills and expertise in managing financials, resources and project milestones. SaaS based solutions and managed services. Project Managers seeking a varied and interesting client facing role are invited to apply to this fast growing organisation enjoying great success.

You can be home based in any accessible UK location, and travel to client sites UK wide for meetings. Head Office is in Bristol where you will attend from time to time. Any experience of HR or Payroll or related software solutions such as T&A or Workforce Management is a plus. You will:
  • engage with clients and gain a high level understanding of the functionality, processes and MI they need from their HR and Payroll solution
  • project plan software implementation project delivery including timelines and resources
  • maintain project documentation
  • work with consulting teams in the UK and India who carry out client consulting and configuration
  • manage several client implementations concurrently
  • manage stakeholder relationships
  • manage financials to ensure on budget delivery

You must have:
  • substantial experience of project managing the implementation of business applications software solutions
  • client facing experience, working with varied external clients, of a consultancy or software vendor
  • good relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • analytical and problem solving skills
  • strong skills in management of financials
  • familiarity with formal project management methodologies such as Prince 2
  • any experience of implementing Payroll or HR or related solutions in the public or private sector is a plus.
