Excellent opportunity for a Membership Relations specialist to join the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Trade Association. Established in 1923 our mission is to help everyone achieve a better income in retirement.
We work to get more people and money into retirement savings, to get more value out of those savings and to build the confidence and understanding of savers.

The Membership Engagement Manager Role:
This role is a member of a four-person membership engagement team. The department leads on the engagement of members in order to ensure we capture their insights to convey back internally and to learn and improve from and, crucially, in order to impact our retention. The role requires a person who has first class interpersonal skills and professionalism who is able to communicate effectively with members on complex issues and who can also contribute more broadly to achieving our membership engagement objectives.
+ Conducting engagement campaigns, using a full range of techniques including face to face meetings (some travel around the UK), phone calls and emails.
+ Contributing to recruitment campaigns, where required, including conducting face to face meetings and phone calls.
+ Using our CRM and email marketing software for segmentation, marketing communications and reporting, making full use of its capabilities, and developing and maintaining our database.
+ Working closely with the other members of the Membership Engagement team and across the organisation
+ Performing other duties as required.
Essential experience and knowledge requirements:
+ Proven experience in membership, client relations, sales or marketing, ideally in the context of a membership organisation.
+ Proven experience of developing relationships, problem solving issues and achieving membership/sales targets using a variety of techniques including face to face and telephone work.
+ Experience of customer engagement work and customer journey.
+ Experience of using CRM packages.
+ Knowledge of pensions, finance or the lifetime savings markets would be a distinct advantage.

+ Confidence with face to face and telephone work and being an ambassador for the organisation
+ First class written and oral communication skills.
+ Effective organisational ability to manage keep track of a range of activities, with good attention to detail.
