About us

The role of Capability Manager will be responsible for growing the capability of our line management population across the globe. Running the Performance Management Process, and improving the front line management by designing, and delivering best in class, cutting edge & technology led, interventions to ensure that high performance is a way of life and performance conversations happen on daily basis.

This role will also be expected to provide guidance & support acting as a centre of excellence for our Line Management population

What You will be doing:
  • Performance Management - responsible for delivering the cycle of Performance Reviews across the business, providing relevant communications, support, data and insightful recommendations into the outcomes of the process
  • Building Capability - Designing, building and implementing a programme of 'interventions' (training, e-learning, media,) reflecting a 'Just-in-Time' approach to learning that tackles the business requirements to improve capability
  • Capability tools - Management & Delivery of tools such as the insights/360 and other feedback tools to measure and manage individual performance and team effectiveness - providing the right level of support and activity to drive positive actions
  • Global Coverage - can work smart using technology and leverage 3rd parties where necessary to provide necessary support and interventions for the business around the world
  • Compliance - Work with relevant matrix stakeholders across the business to support with regulatory reporting ensuring we are legally compliant
  • Projects - Manage ad-hoc business projects related to the overall strategy, i.e. Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Communications & Delivery- lead thecommunication of the Capability strategy and proactively market the benefits of working at Travelopia.

What we are looking for:
  • Ideally developed a career within the 'L&D' function focused on Management capability
  • Experience of designing & delivering programmes, as well as external knowledge of 'what good looks like'
  • Understands & can describe what a good Performance Culture looks like
  • Excellent at providing insight and recommendation for key business decisions based on observations and interactions with the management team
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision within a small team
  • Can provide advice on Software, Systems and Processes that enhance the Learning opportunity across the company
  • Excellent Communication skills with ability to influence and work alongside all levels of colleagues across the group - locally and internationally
