I m currently recruiting for a Food Manufacturing company in the heart of Norfolk who are looking at bringing on board an experienced Procurement Category Manager. This multi-site company, who are constantly striving for improvement, are currently investing within their procurement team. Procurement is a critical part of the company as it heavily influences company spending, across all aspects of the business.

The key aspect of the Procurement Category Manager role is to maximise value from spend within the category scope. The key job role duties will include:

Negotiating with new and existing suppliers in order to reduce cost.
Maintain communication & relationships with internal stakeholders.
Ensure the success and reliability of projects through contracting processes.

In order to be successful within this role you need:

The ability to develop and maintain provider and supplier relationships.
Strong influencing and communication skills to develop rapport quickly with senior stakeholders.
To possess a very high attention to detail, ensuring you enter all data with a high level of accuracy.
