The Marketing Manager Role:

The role of the Marketing Manager will be to lead our development in the UK & Ireland region in collaboration with the wider team, reporting in to the London based Senior Field Marketing Manager.

Your main responsibilities will be:

+ Devising the UK&I marketing strategy in line with corporate objectives
+ Developing and implementing the annual marketing plan and budget
+ Applying marketing strategy focused on building brand awareness and lead generation for the UK&I
+ Lead and execute on all aspects of field marketing activities including; tradeshow and conference sponsorships, breakfast seminars, industry events; media partnerships and negotiations, vendor management, localised content and material creation, digital and email campaigns
+ Developing and identifying new strategic partnerships with key influencers, platforms and media partners
+ Collaborating with the Digital Marketing and Content Marketing teams to coordinate and lead effective multi-channel localised marketing campaigns
+ Communicating event and campaign expectations, objectives and results with the sales team
+ Forecasting, measuring and analysing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, including strategic effectiveness and return on investment via monthly reports, making recommendations for future activity
+ Being a significant business partner to the sales teams

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration (or equivalent) with solid and demonstrable experience in operational marketing.
Ideally you will also have experience working in the learning industry, SaaS or within a high-growth technology environment.

You will enjoy working autonomously and be proactive and flexible, with analytical and strategic thinking with outstanding verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to demonstrate success in working collaboratively with sales, business and marketing teams with the ability to influence and successfully interface with cross-functional teams. You must also be able to demonstrate a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise workload in order to meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy.

Marketo / marketing automation experience would be highly desirable (not essential).
