A new opportunity has been created with one of our Tech. based clients, in Edinburgh city centre. This is a newly created opening, created on the back of both organic growth and a slight re-structure, so as to provide greater strength and depth within their Head Office Finance function.

Over the last few years, the business have experienced considerable growth and this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of shaping a Finance function which adds value and supports future growth.

· Year-end audit and tax file preparation
· Consolidation of statutory annual accounts for the parent company and its subsidiaries
· Produce Group KPI reports for the Board
· Assist with Group cash flow model
· Participate in annual budget process
· Bank relationship management and administration
· Develop, document and implement financial processes and controls

· Qualified accountant CA/ACCA
· Minimum of 3-4 years PQE working in a similar role with line management responsibility
· Positive attitude, enthusiastic and driven by results
· Proven experience of implementing efficiency procedures and maintaining good financial controls
· Strong background across all areas of year-end audit processes

The role will evolve considerably over the next few years, for a range of reasons, and will therefore appeal to those who are looking for continued progression over the next few years, and the opportunity to step up in to a more senior role over time.

The Finance Director, who you will report in to, is looking for someone who will come with a positive can-do attitude, who will support both him and the wider team. At times, the role will involve getting the sleeves rolled up, and the need to take the lead on certain tasks out with the day to day remit of the role. The successful individual will be a driven, positive individual who will also come with the ability to carry out a number of leadership roles within the team.

This role is being managed exclusively by Ross Gunn at Change Recruitment. If you would like to discuss this opening in more detail, we would ask that you submit a full CV at the earliest opportunity.
