Role & Team
You will come on board at a truly exciting time, and as a member of the Decision Support team, you will be a critical component in our Commercial Organisation by providing essential finance support for agency deals by owning the subscriber investment appraisal process across several European markets.

This dynamic position will involve...

  • Deal support for Key Account managers, providing high-quality financial support on agency commercial deals, gaining appropriate approvals, and ensuring compliance with Travelport financial operations processes.
  • You will be ensuring financial models and deals represent accurate information and reflect the impact on Travelport's financial position.
  • You will be responsible for Account Budget inputs covering Volume, Market, and revenue costs.
  • Track functional performance for key accounts clusters against targets. Identify and understand drivers of under/over performance, highlighting key variances and recommend actions/strategies to improve the performance of countries profitability
  • Ensure correct accounting for Key accounts through periodic reviews with Financial Operations teams.
  • Provide accurate forecasts by key accounts to commercial management teams.
  • Understand and input on regional agency cash flow requirements and commitments.
  • Work with regional account owners to grow/improve the profitability of cluster, by driving revenue opportunities and cost of revenue reductions schemes. Involvement to impact of pricing decisions on products and providing feedback on corporate initiatives
  • You will have responsibility for signing off on commercial deals with $0.5m GM / including upfronts within the approval matrix agreed.
  • Work with corporate and Financial Operations functions on ensuring accounting policies are understood by the region and adhered to, working with the Account teams on any issues that may arise and highlight possible alternatives.
  • You will support the implementation and rollout of new deal processes and commercial pricing.

You;
  • If you're a studier (ACCA/CIMA) it would be a bonus.
  • You have the desire to make a long-term career in a commercial role.
  • You'll have practical experience in a finance environment.
  • Decision-making is key in this position, so you will need to be confident & logical.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
