The role of the Commercial Data Analyst is a critical role within the commercial function. The role serves two purposes; to provide timely insights to the wider commercial team on product trends and identifying risk and opportunity, and secondly to provide the leadership teams with rolled up analysis and commentary.

You will be experienced analyst comfortable with working at all levels of an organisation and have the ability to cut through significant volumes of data and make clear, concise insight which can be understood easily by the wider business.

What you'll be doing for Taloirmade who provide luxury holidays and personalised itineraries to destinations across the world is supporting market performance team with insights and analysis.

Strategy and Insights

o Support Market Performance & Strategy Director in developing insights and presentations relating to strategic commercial plans for key destinations.

o Working with Market Performance Managers develop reporting and insight to support market trends and opportunities.

o Development and building of BI reports to inform commercial decision-making across the brands and be the central source for product and performance data.

o Accountable for Management Information and reports, including supporting of staff company-wide in the use and design of the Business Objects Universes.

o Ownership of market intelligence, including positioning and product trends.

o Manage the competitive price analysis process, together with supporting analysis

Product and Pricing

o Working with Market Performance Managers and Executives to develop exception reporting to identify opportunity and risk within the portfolio of products.

o Development and management of the commercial team forecasting capabilities.

o Collation of promotional pricing and campaign performance.

Systems and Processes

o Lead responsible person for revenue reporting and tools.

o Project management of new departmental initiatives.

Knowledge /Experience /Qualities

o Significant demonstrable experience in business analysis or a related field.

o Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

o The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

o Excellent documentation skills.

o Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

o Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.

o Competency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Visualisation Tools / Power BI

o Track record of following through on commitments.

o Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
