Are you a payroll manager and wondering what's next? Looking for a challenge but unsure what that looks like? Perhaps this is it! Would you like to manage the delivery of an efficient, high quality and customer focused payroll function that meets statutory requirements and business objectives; delivers operational goals whilst driving on-going improvements and planning for the future.

The purpose of this 6 months interim project position is to manage the implementation of a new system. This position also has the potential of going perm.

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Proactively identify areas where improvements in operational effectiveness or efficiency can be made
  • Give clear direction, set clear expectations and inspire/ motivate direct reports to excel
  • Put processes in place to ensure payroll systems are maintained and provide a reliable service
  • Prepare management reports on payroll expenditure to guide leadership effectiveness

REQUIREMENTS
  • 7 years payroll experience and previous management experience
  • Ability to motivate, develop and lead others
  • Experience in managing large, 1000 plus payrolls and complex pay structures
  • Desirable to have previously implemented new systems
