This is an exciting opportunity to join one of UK's fastest growing organisations and are an award-winning Telecom & IT Services company who offer innovative IT managed solutions, Telecommunications and in-house IT helpdesk support. They provide a wide range of products and solutions, technical fixes and reviews of existing set-ups as well as all other generalised ICT advice.

As part of their continued growth strategy they are currently looking to appoint experienced candidates to the position of Field Sales Consultant / Business Development Manager, a position in which you will be mainly responsible for developing new opportunities and delivering sales of SME voice & data telecom business as well as also selling managed IT support contracts and IT & Telecom products & solutions within their portfolio.

Current opportunities are in Manchester and the south east of England. The successful applicant will be a proven New Business Sales Consultant within the Voice & Data Telecoms / Managed Services Provider area and will ideally also have experience of selling other IT & Communications products and solutions as well, as their company portfolio also includes hosting solutions, IT & cloud services, Office 365, broadband & internet, managed network solutions.

It will be your main objective to generate sales with companies of all sizes and you will be a solution led sales person who does not always rely on price to sell. This role is primarily focused on new business development and it is suited only to people who are target driven, sales hungry and who can exploit their exceptional new business sales skills to deliver results. You will of course be looked upon to generate self-made opportunities of your own but you will also have extensive assistance from their in-house lead generation telemarketing team who will supply you with a number of additional opportunities as well.

Proven business development experience within this area of industry is essential to your application, as this role requires you to have extensive knowledge of the products, competitors and the MSP arena in general. You must be very personable, have exceptional communication skills and of course have a full driving license.

The starting basic salary for this position ranges from £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience, with additional on target earnings of £35,000 also available in a commission structure that is completely uncapped. Your normal hours of work would be Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm
