An exciting opportunity has arisen within Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust's (SCFT) Special Care Dental team for a Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry.

The post holder will provide comprehensive high quality dental care for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children within our Special Care Dental service, including treatments under local anaesthesia, inhalation sedation and general anaesthesia. The post offers opportunities for an inspiring leader to mentor and guide the Special Care Dental team, offering training, insights into the latest research and links with local networks to further improve the quality of the service provided.

The post is based in Haywards Heath, with theatre sessions in Brighton. You may occasionally be asked to work across our other clinics in West Sussex, as the lead paediatrician sharing your skills and expertise with colleagues across the service.

The successful applicant should be fully registered with the GDC, have an NHS primary dental care performer number, be on the specialist list in paediatric dentistry and possess or be within 6 months of receiving, a certificate of accreditation or eligibility for a CCT in Paediatric Dentistry.
