Assembly Technician (Electromechanical - Robotics)
Cambridge
£24k-£27k + excellent benefits

We are looking to hire 5 Assembly Technicians / Manufacturing Technicians / Production Fitters to join one of the most exciting employers in Cambridge who are developing lifesaving robotics technology which is set to revolutionise the healthcare industry. You must have experience of high-tech electrical and mechanical assembly or test (preferably within a regulated environment such as medical/pharmaceutical or aerospace) and a relevant Apprenticeship / NVQ / BTEC qualification, and at least 5 GCSEs at greater than C grade.

Responsibilities
* Assembly of electro-mechanical sub-systems (e.g. robotic joints) following manufacturing instructions
* Testing / commissioning of integrated electro-mechanical assemblies using pre-defined instructions
* Assembly and test of integrated robotic arms and other sub-systems
* Supporting the testing / commissioning / debugging of integrated robotic sub-systems, including documentation

Assembly Technician / Manufacturing Technician requirements.
* Apprenticeship / relevant NVQ / BTEC qualification, and at least 5 GCSEs at greater than C grade
* Skilled in high-tech assembly or test (preferably within a regulated environment such as medical/pharmaceutical or aerospace)
* Cable assembly skills (use of crimp tools, wire cutters and associated hand tools)
