We are looking for an AV Technical Trainer to join an expanding End User Training team and work alongside the End User Training Manager EMEA to deliver world-class training to our clients in line with End User Training department process and client requirements.

The successful AV Technical Trainer will be working from Farnborough/Client sites/Home and will need to be confident when presenting to groups of people, possess excellent communication skills and have an advanced understanding of AV systems and technology.

The ideal AV Technical Trainer will have advanced audio-visual knowledge, previous experience delivering training is not essential and relevant training will be provided.

Your AV Technical Trainer Duties and Responsibilities

* Deliver face to face technical and end-user training.

* Research, prepare and create training sessions and documentation, including detailed session plans, user and quick reference guides, support and assessment materials appropriate to the learning objectives of each Client.

* Keeping up to date with changes within the AV industry as part of your ongoing personal development.

* Build and maintain relationships with clients from point of sale through to and beyond training delivery.

* Confident communication skills, a readiness to interact and an ability to influence colleagues and customers across a spectrum of disciplines, both national and international.

* Ability to conduct technical presentations and comfort in speaking to large groups users.

* Strong operational experience on a variety of AV spaces, including event spaces and meeting rooms.

* Strong fault-finding experience on a variety of AV spaces.

* Knowledge of industry-standard video conferencing platforms.

* Experience of scheduling, monitoring and supporting VC calls on client's systems

* Knowledge of video conferencing bridging systems.

* Exposure to industry standard VMR service providers.

* Technical aptitude with the ability to learn and teach new technologies.

* Ability to train highly technical participants while balancing the needs of less technical attendees.

* Feedback to line Manager and relevant persons in line with the training department's processes.

* Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver outstanding customer service to our clients.

* Attend bi-weekly meetings with line manager.

About You

* Effectively communicate both verbal and written, being able to communicate with company executives to building contractors and in front of groups.

* Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines.

* Experience of Managing an AV system within a corporate environment.

* Excellent customer service skills

* Being able to prioritise and work under pressure is essential

* Be competent to a high level of computer literacy

Your AV Technical Trainer Benefits

* 40 hours per week, 08.30 - 17.30, but must be flexible

* Salary is £25 - 35k per annum

* Healthcare, death in service assurance, pensions matched at 4%, bike to work scheme

* Office based in Farnborough, home working is acceptable.

* Overtime

Salary: £25,000.00 to £35,000.00 /year
