Leading events' company, host to numerous events per year ranging from exhibitions and summits to conferences and training courses. Due to continued success and growth within the industry, they are now seeking to recruit an ambitious and highly-organised Exhibitions Operations Executive to join their team.

Purpose of the role
As Exhibitions Operations Executive, you will join the operations team to ensure the delivery of exhibitions and features within the agreed budgets and deadline are to the highest possible standards. You will be involved in the pre-show and onsite running of the events as well as supporting the other events team within the organisation.

Exhibitions Operations Executive Responsibilities:

Floorplan production and management including redraws, updates and obtaining venue approval
Production of signage schedule and proofs in conjunction with the contractor, Show Director and marketing
Organise events running alongside exhibitions such as exhibitor parties and breakfast briefings
Space only stand plan approval
Budget management including updating pre and post show and ensuring budgets are never exceeded
Manage the exhibitor technical manuals - produce template manuals, where necessary, and edit and maintain manuals for individual events
Exhibitor liaison - ensure exhibitors receive good customer service pre-show and onsite, answering queries and chasing forms pre-show, solving queries onsite
Negotiation with suppliers to ensure best prices without compromising on quality
Regular floorplan and exhibitor list updates to all official contractors and venue
Liaise with sales and marketing teams regarding catalogue deadlines, onsite floorplans, onsite requirements
Manage accommodation
Order and manage on-site services e.g. AV, office equipment, carpet, catering
Manage contras and special stand requirements
Produce onsite information such as staff briefings, 'daily diary', exhibitor lists, floorplans
Coordinate and manage temporary staff both onsite and pre-show
Post event reporting
Exhibitions Operations Executive Requirements

A minimum of 2 years' Event logistics experience
Able to read technical floorplans
Able to read space only stand plans
IOSH certification preferable
Excellent time management, organisation and prioritising skills
Positive, enthusiastic approach and works on own initiative
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent IT skills and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
