Location: Bamber Bridge, nr Preston, Lancs
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 43.75 hours per week
Salary: circa £25,000 per annum

About the role:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Project Co-ordinator to work as part of our team based from our office at Bamber Bridge in the North West. Reporting to the Framework Manager, the key responsibility of the role will be to maintain control of the core works ensuring all projects are being progressed from tendering through to completion, in addition to:

- Communicate with clients regularly to co-ordinate projects and resources.
- Store information in the relevant folders on the EWW server for all projects.
- Request access for site survey work and installation work via a specific process.
- Administration work which will cover; filing (hard copies and soft copies), photocopying, taking messages etc. and updating of relevant documentation.
- Update various spreadsheets on a daily basis, to include project tracker, batch co-ordination, financial and other project documentation.
- Obtain updates off engineers on the progress of the survey or installation & report back to management.
- Weekly reporting to various managers.
- Provide support as necessary to the estimating dept. in the preparation and submission of information.
- Communicate with relevant team members via telephone & e-mail to discuss any information obtained from taking messages.
- Assist the Project Managers when plausible and possible.
- Attend and contribute to weekly meetings for a framework update by producing monthly MSP statistics.
- Compiling site packs for new sites and collating information from works undertaken.

About you:

The ideal candidate should hold a suitable relevant qualification e.g., NVQ 2 or 3 in Business Administration and / or Customer Service. Y

Ideally, you'll have previously worked in the water or construction industry and be able to demonstrate prior experience working in a similar demanding role.

You will have a high level of communication, literacy and numerical skills, as well as being fully conversant on Excel. In addition, you will be a strong team player.
