Encore is an award-winning Property Management company specialising in the ongoing management of large residential developments.

We are looking for a new addition to the IT department who will bring energy, accuracy and an abundance of customer service skills. Supporting the company's office and site based staff, the team is responsible for maintaining the IT systems and for providing efficient desktop support, resolving any IT-related faults quickly and efficiently so you'll need to think, and work fast, at times!

Working alongside the IT Support Engineer and IT Manager you represent the 'hub' of the business, getting to know everyone and every part of the business in a short space of time.

Duties include but are not limited to:

* Providing 1st line IT helpdesk remote support to users in a friendly and efficient manner

* Ensuring that a high level of customer service and support is provided to all users

* Diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues

* Administering accurate and comprehensive helpdesk logs

* Performing analysis reporting to assist the IT Manager in monitoring performance

* Prioritising the team's workload to ensure time sensitive and urgent issues are dealt with prior to those with lower urgency

* Assessing the complexity of issues and escalating to the IT Support Engineer or IT Manager as necessary

* Communicating quickly and effectively with all users when issues arise through to resolution

* Advising on best practice for users and ensure compliance with the company's policies

* Ensuring the asset register is up kept to date and maintaining control of IT stock

* Managing the door entry fobs, ensuring new starters are setup ready for their first day

Key Skills and Experience

* At least 2 years in a customer service role is essential

* Previous experience of working in an IT team is desirable

* Highly organised, administrative and analytical with exceptional customer service

* Basic understanding of PC set-up, and strong knowledge of MS Office

* Excellent problem-solving attributes and data analysis and report writing skills

* Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone and in person

* Flexible and able to respond to changing priorities

Location - Cambridge City Centre

Hours of work - 8:30 - 5:30 Mon to Thur, 8:30 - 5:00 Fri plus additional as required

Salary - £20,000 - £22,000 dependent on experience
