Our Thurleigh based client is looking to recruit a Billing Coordinator who has intermediate knowledge of Excel.

Purpose of Role

• Responsible for the timely and accurate invoicing across multiple customers with varying services, rates and billing periods.
• Ensure any customer enquiries/concerns are responded to within the agreed time parameters, via e-mail and/or telephone

Key Competencies

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Validation of the billing charges prior to Billing - checking costs are correctly assigned in the system
• Ensure all billing is produced in an accurate and timely manner
• Raising invoices for PDI, refurbishment, storage and transport via the Billing system - daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly as determined by the customer
• Raising manual invoices on an ad-hoc basis via the Financials system
• Upload invoices into our E-Billing portal, emailing and/or posting of invoices as determined by the customer
• Raising credit notes accurately and on a timely basis, as and when necessary
• Review all Billing processes and ensure they are written completely and are always up-to-date for training and audit purposes

To build and maintain excellent client relationships:
• Pro-actively assist Credit Control in solving invoice queries where possible
• Adopt an excellent telephone manner at all times when dealing with both internal and external clients
• Seek to build a good rapport with customers at all times

To ensure all key tasks are carried out to the highest standards of quality at all times:
• Resolving Billing system issues with IT
• Liaising with Site Admin teams and Account Managers to ensure charges are correct within the system
• Checking report information is correct and accurate before distributing

• Review all Billing processes and ensure they are written completely and are always up-to-date for training and audit purposes
