EuroTalk is a small, independent publisher of language learning software and apps based in Fulham. EuroTalk has been making language learning software for over 20 years.

We were founded in 1991 by Dick Howeson and Andrew Ashe, and have been based in Fulham, London ever since. As our name would suggest, we started with European languages and then added some more.

And then some more.

We now offer 150 languages, with more on the way all the time.

Main role and responsibilities:
  • You will be developing and following test processes to ensure bugs are found, recorded and reported across a range of PC, Mac and Mobile software, on a range of devices.
  • You will be collating bug reports from different areas of the business, and ensuring these are recorded and reported to the correct teams.
  • You will be working closely with the software developers as new features are being rolled out, and bugs being fixed, to ensure quality and reliability for our customers.
  • You'll be trying to break things! Edge cases, stress testing and performance trials will all be part of your role.

We have a wide range of hardware to test on, and keep up to date with the latest devices. You'll be trying to do the unexpected, so that problems can be resolved before shipping.

Desired personal qualities:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of how to use Sifter, or similar bug tracking software
  • Know how to writs Bug reports
  • You will need to write clear, concise bug reports and reproducibility documents
  • Familiarity with programming languages and scripts writing
