An experienced RGN Registered Nurse with experience in colorectal services is required to work as Colorectal Nurse Specialist in a leading private hospital in the City of Westminster.
The hospital is internationally renowned for the excellent standards of patient care and clinical excellence and this is a great opportunity to work with leading Consultants and Specialists.
Details of this Colorectal Nurse Specialist vacancy and what the hospital is offering:
• A permanent contract of 37.5 hours per week, usually working Monday to Friday days
• A Band 8 equivalent annual salary of up to £48,000

In this role you will deliver specialist Nurse-led services to Colorectal patients and will play a key role in a multidisciplinary team of RNs, Surgeons, Theatre Staff, Physios and Consultants. You support the development of the colorectal service and will teach colleagues best practices for Stoma care and in caring for patients following Colorectal surgery. The role will also involve conducting clinical governance and audits.
What the hospital is looking for in a Colorectal Nurse Specialist:
• NMC Registered Level 1 Adult Nurse/RGN
• Demonstrate proven experience working in Colorectal services or Stoma Care
• Have some clinical leadership experience and able to lead and coordinate complex care in a multi-disciplinary team
• A passion for clinical excellence and able to deliver the highest standards of patient care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and work well independently and collaboratively
