The concept of flexible workspace has picked up steam over the last ten years to the point of WeWork being the largest private occupier in both London and New York. But what about those businesses who need much more than a place to put down a laptop? Businesses that need space to cook, make things or even teach classes?

Occupyd is a marketplace with a mission to make space work for businesses. Through our platform, we connect businesses with spare space - to those who need it.

We launched in January 2019. Since then we have developed a fully bespoke web app with active users on both sides of the market. We are in a strong position with committed funding at a significant level, complemented by the support of experienced industry advisors and business leaders.

We are in a great place and ready to accelerate our growth. Having been invited to enjoy the benefits of an RBS backed accelerator, we are currently working from our office in their Gogarburn HQ. This coupled with our membership of the Scottish Enterprise Growth Pipeline is evidence that we really are a significant technology business with a very bright future.

In order to get us from where we are today to where we want to go, we are recruiting a Head of Growth who can drive new listings and enquiries on our platform, using all of the channels at their disposal.

The Nitty Gritty -

As Head of Growth, you will thrive at the intersection of marketing and product development and be focused on user acquisition, activation, retention, and upsell. You will design and execute growth initiatives, live inside the analytics and make iterative product improvements. Ideally, you will possess some or all of the following;
  • Be fluent in the full spectrum of acquisition channels at your disposal - paid, owned and earned media
  • Build and deliver a plan for how to grow our userbase week on week
  • Create and execute campaigns in order to drive user growth across organic and paid acquisition channels, working with agency partners
  • Track and report on the efficiency of campaigns
  • Track our user journeys and identifies product improvements
  • Be confident in engaging with our users and understanding how they use our platform
  • Be the catcher and champion for product requests from users
  • The passion and desire to be part of a young and growing business and eager to contribute to all aspects of our success

What you look like

In addition to having a solid experience of all areas listed above, the ideal candidate will;
  • Have a solid understanding of performance marketing and be obsessed with CAC and LTV
  • Be confident in creating and implementing strategy and competent analysing the results
  • First-class experience in an agency or in a growth role within a technology company
  • Be able to evidence/demonstrate the impact you have made on other businesses
