Copywriter & Marketing Officer
Join our fun and fast growing in house creative marketing team and help us be the biggest and best Muslim dating app out there. There are 1.8 billion Muslims out there - will you help us reach them all? This is a multi faceted role where you'll learn alot and get your hands dirty!

We're looking for
  • The copywriter is responsible for creating engaging written text (known as 'copy') that works hand-in-hand with the visual concepts generated by the graphic designer.
  • All copy must be written in the tone suitable for our audience, brand style and should be appropriate for many platforms, including: Websites, mobile apps, emails, social media, blogs, Marketing materials, Press advertising, News releases, Sales letters, Articles, Brochures
  • The copywriter must keep an eye on any changes to the media landscape that will influence concepts and make projects innovative and fresh.
  • In addition to Copywriting, we expect this role to overlap with that of a marketing officer to effectively communicate our message.

What you'll do
  • Preparing, planning and project managing the publication of all publicity material to maximise brand promotion.
  • Creating marketing campaigns and working with, if necessary, any external PR agencies to see them executed.
  • Creating and developing new innovative ways to communicate the company message to their existing customers.
  • Planning and project managing marketing events and evaluating their success.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of all marketing activity.
  • Grow company coverage with press, social, video and other campaigns.
  • Understanding the message our brand is seeking to express and translating this into written content
  • Writing copy to engage the reader
  • Working with the art director to devise creative strategies
  • Generating creative ideas to build innovative campaigns
  • Interviewing users and people of interest to promote our app for social media videos and/or blog.
Experience and skills
  • Significant experience in writing strong, succinct copy that is grammatically correct
  • Effective writing and presentation skills.
  • Top analytical skills.
  • Enjoys challenge and considers conflict to be an opportunity.
  • Natural communicator, sociable, and dynamic, bonds easily with others.
