Overview

Element are recruiting for an EMC Engineer to join our Wimborne team. Element is the best and most trusted testing partner in the world providing high value, critical services to the Aerospace, Transportation, Oil & Gas, Fire & Building Products and Infrastructure & Environmental sectors, where failure is not an option.

Responsibilities
  • Perform testing to procedures laid down in the procedures manual
  • Create and maintain and tidy and safe working environment
  • Design new measurements methods where procedures do not cover exact nature of testing being carried out
  • Maintain a technical logbook
  • Record results of tests on the prescribed result sheets, to plot graphical results
  • Review, prepare and authorise test reports
  • Liaise with other sites' Section Leaders / Engineers to arrange and coordinate inter-site test equipment and EUT samples movement
  • Manage client enquiries regarding work schedules and costing

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience gained within electromagnetic compatibility testing and EMC design
  • Experience of working within a testing lab site environment
  • Exposure to the TIC sector - Testing, Inspection and Certification is advantageous
  • A relevant degree within engineering, product manufacturing, aerospace or similar discipline
