Internal & external based role to provide technical and sales support to customers, Consultants, M&E Contractors and Installers for all products range but with a main focus on the pre-insulated pipe. To achieve the sales target set out by Watts for the Microflex product range.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to identify their needs and requirements.
  • Work with End Users, Consultants, M&E Contractors, System Integrators, Installers and Wholesales in relation to all watts products.
  • To gain information from customers to produce customer quotations and pricing.
  • Keep customers informed of progress of their orders and ensure that they are notified of any possible delays
  • Provide customers with information requested by them on stock, products and orders.
  • Maintain good relations with customers, Consultants, Developers, Installers and End Users to ensure that the company remains as the preferred supplier of pre insulated pipe (Microflex).
  • Work with Customers, Consultants and M&E Contractors to develop pre insulated pipe projects and to gain specification status for Watts and Microflex.
  • Convert customer quotations in to orders on all Watts product but with a focus on the Microflex product range of pre insulated pipe.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication links with other company departments to identify all sales opportunities.
  • Maintain an awareness of company products and of relevant sales techniques to ensure that the sales role is carried out as effectively as possible.
  • Respond to customer and resolve any technical problems to ensure that company products are working effectively and the customer is satisfied with the service provided.
  • Provide feedback to any relevant company departments about complaints and problems to try to ensure that these do not arise in the future.
  • Maintain an awareness or developments in relation to competitors and competitors' products in the market place and feed back to Watts departments.
  • Organize site visits and product trials for prospective customers and report results to relevant managers in the company.
  • Help training customers on the Watts product range with a focus on the Microflex product range.
  • Maintain contact with dispatch in relation to damage to goods, inspection of return loads, etc.
  • To follow the Company's and Group's internal and external procedures
  • To carry out any such other duties that may reasonably be requested of you.
