We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Support Manager. This is an amazing opportunity for you to join a very successful company and work within a talent dynamic IT team. Reporting to the IT Director and responsible for all things Infrastructure / Desktop along with the skills to Administer all backend services that support the IT Platform.

Responsibilities

This IT team provide 2nd line support to the infrastructure and 3rd party systems as well as maintaining, securing/servicing, upgrading our systems and implementing new solutions.

I am looking for a hands-on manager (approx. 60% hands on / 40%-man management) (3 direct reports)

Working within a project driven environment and looking after every aspect of the Company's IT infrastructure / Desktop environment.

Requirements
  • You will be a leader in the adoption of effective processes to include incident, problem change, asset, configuration, capacity, availability and continuity management.
  • Experienced in leading technical projects and delivering within budget
  • Must have strong experience in IT Support with at least 2 years + at 3rd line support.
  • Maintaining networks, desktops as well as infrastructure at the production and DR data centres;
  • Maintaining core applications to ensure high levels of availability; and
  • Maintaining security and ensuring appropriate patching across all infrastructure and applications
  • VMware, Windows Server 2008R2, 2012, server 2016
  • Knowledge of Active Directory administration including Group Policy Management and Deployment

Essential Skills:
  • Microsoft Windows (MCSE certified);
  • VMware (VCP-DCV certified);
  • Networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing);
  • Strong 3rd Party Provider/Vendor Management;
  • Project management experience
  • Disaster Recovery design and validation.

Desirable
  • ITIL based methodologies.
  • Operating within a formal change management framework.
  • Supplier Management.
  • Software Licensing Management
  • Hardware Maintenance and Support Agreement Management
