2nd Line Support Engineer - Windows, Exchange, Server, LAN/WAN, Office365

Are you an ambitious Support Engineer currently working in a 1st/2nd line role with aspirations to progress your career? Would you like to have the opportunity to do more 2nd line and learn 3rd Line support in a Cloud first business?

Our client is an expanding IT Managed Service Provider who pride themselves on the customer service they deliver to their clients across the UK, using the latest tools and technologies. Due to the success of the business they are now looking to grow their successful IT Support Team.

It is a busy, fast paced environment which will see you working both in the office and out in the field working with customers providing excellent support.

Key responsibilities:

* Provide 2nd line support remote or on site.

* Identifying root cause, and advise or resolve issues

* Keep up to date with existing and emerging technologies

* Be involved in project work.

Technical Skills:


* Windows Desktop environments, including Windows 7, 8 & 10

* Windows Server 2008 / 2012

* MS Exchange Server 2013 / 2016

* Networking - LAN, WAN, firewalls

* Wireless networks

* Virtualisation - VMware / Hyper-V

Title: 2nd Line Support

Location: Gloucester. Commutable from Stroud, Cheltenham, Tewksbury.

Duration: Permanent.

Salary: c£28,000 pa neg on exp. Plus benefits including Vitality Health Plan, Life Insurance and regular social events.

Start Date: ASAP.

Driving License and own transport essential. (Mileage allowance given for travel to client sites)
