Celebrating their 10th year of trading, our prestigious client Evolving Networks Ltd are expanding their friendly and vibrant team with the addition of a Technical Apprentice.

Located in modern offices in Peterborough, you will learn to deal with IT-related issues and troubleshoot. Provide Customers with a first class service and provide technical support to end users!

  • £10,400 per annum

Roles & Responsibilities

Evolving Networks are currently experiencing a sustained growth period and as a result, are looking for a number of apprentices to join their existing teams.

Working within the Technical Team and reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, your daily duties and responsibilities will include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:
  • Ensuring all customer connections maintain uptime at all costs.
  • Completing the initial diagnosis of support cases and network events by either resolving the procedure or escalating as necessary.
  • Problem-solving network connectivity issues using remote diagnostic tools and systems.
  • Managing all cases and customer requests from identification to resolution and closure, ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Answering telephone and email support requests and responding to and managing events from our network monitoring platform to proactively protect customer connectivity.
  • Working alongside the head of the infrastructure to assist in the day to day management.
  • The role will include the use of centralised business systems including CRM and service desk management tools, as well as bespoke cloud-based software platforms and systems for diagnosis, problem-solving and network management.

Full support and guidance will be provided by both the employer and training provider throughout the apprenticeship.
