2ND LINE SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

£25,000 - £29,000 (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)

We are looking for a 2nd line support technician to join our client's support team based just outside Bristol. Our client specialise in managing IT infrastructure for their clients across the whole of the UK and this would be a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their career, whilst ensuring they stay at the heart of the constantly developing technology market.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
  • Undertake project work delegated by the Projects Team
  • Maintain Microsoft Server/Desktops and Azure Cloud environments
  • Work with the 3rd Line Support Team where necessary
  • Provide support to 1st Line to help upskill and improve knowledge
  • Resolve customer issues within the agreed SLAs
  • Work in a way that is consistent with the company's values

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Someone with a passion for IT, and with a desire for personal development
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies (Office 365, InTune, MS Server 2016 onwards)
  • Preferably a background in cloud software (Azure, AWS, Google etc.)
  • ITIL quals or experience would be beneficial, but training will be given
  • Demonstrated experience in project work would be an advantage
  • Someone who is confident in dealing with customers face to face and over the phone
