We currently have a new vacancy for:

Estates & Facilities Officer (Chester & Ellesmere Port)

Salary range: £17,054 - £19,508 per annum

We are looking for a multi-skilled Estates & Facilities Officer to undertake caretaking and minor maintenance duties at our Chester & Ellesmere Port Campuses. To join our existing team; you will have a positive attitude and be able to deliver excellent customer service to College staff for the benefit of our learners.

Working flexibly on a shift rota, mornings/afternoons or afternoons/evenings, the main duties will include the safe opening and closing of College premises and the preparation of rooms and facilities.

You will possess a good standard of education including GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent), a Level 2 maintenance or building related qualification (or equivalent) and a valid First Aid Certificate (or be willing to work towards). With relevant practical experience in general maintenance and repair, ground maintenance and caretaking; you will have the ability to manage your own workload, be able to use a computer and have excellent health & safety awareness for yourself and others.

You will be based at our Chester Campus, however, you may be required to work across our other sites and participate in the out of hours on-call rota (for fire or intruder alarm activations), therefore a full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle will be required.
