Commercial Finance at Access
Commercial Finance is at the heart of decision making at Access. We support our Board and divisional management teams in driving performance and strategic planning and we need to expand this team further to support our growth plans. These roles will support either a division (by product/end market) or function (Sales, Development), as well as providing support for Group initiatives.

The role
A commercial finance business partner at Access supports the leadership team in delivering exceptional performance. They are a trusted advisor and are critical to our commercial decision making.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Ownership of the financial performance of the division/function, working with the relevant business leader to maximise performance and manage risks/opportunities to the financial plan
• Understanding the key metrics of the business and communicating these to stakeholders, and recommending a relevant course of action
• Provide input in to rolling forecast / long term financial planning
• Preparation of analysis and insight to support decision making
• Preparation of business cases to support investment
• Involvement in M&A activity and integration of acquisitions in to business as usual

The roles will be based either in London or in Loughborough, with some requirement for UK travel as required.

Skills and Experiences likely include:
• Proven experience within commercial finance, providing leadership support and / or business partnering
• Strong Analytical skills with the ability to use financial data and trends to articulate risks & opportunities
• Logical, with the ability to understand different drivers of key metrics and how these influence one another, to provide insight in to performance
• Ability to present information clearly with confidence in the numbers & experience in influencing both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Strong organisational and communicational skills - ideally demonstrated through working with senior management
• Good at solving problems and an inquisitive mind
• Adaptable, flexible and able to work well under time pressure and in a fast paced organisation
• Strong excel or financial modelling skills
• Professional accountancy qualification
