Job Summary

Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a brilliant healthcare company based in Ashton under lyne, they currently recruiting for a Pensions and Payroll Administrator to join their team.

Key Duties/Tasks:
  • 80% pensions with 20% of the time supporting the payroll process
  • This role will take the lead for pensions there will be support from Manager and the team.
  • 2 pensions NHS Pension and NEST including doctors pensions
  • The role is administering the auto enrolment process for 6 payrolls every month
  • Dealing with processing starters and leaver records and updating records at year end.
  • Providing Annual Statement Benefits to members upon request, and helping with the Opt Out/Refund actions
  • General pension queries
  • Paying over the contributions to the Third parties every month.
  • Monthly reconciliation work
  • Updating records upon receipt of self-assessments forms
  • Support the processing and running of the end to end weekly and monthly payroll

Desirable skills and attributes:
  • Payroll Officer that wants to learn more about Pensions and administration/finance
  • Strong administrator that has a finance/pension background and wants to know more of the payroll process would be suitable.
  • Able to multitask
  • Responsible for all aspects from start to finish
  • Great customer service as dealing with queries
