Analyst Developer

Full Time :

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7.

The salary range will be £35,328 to £42,701 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

We are looking for an experienced application Analyst Developer who has worked with a student information system, as you will be supporting SITS, SID and other associated student applications.

You will work closely with IT managers and decision makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective solutions. Maintaining currency with respect to appropriate cloud and systems technology changes, advances and IT Trends are part of the role. You will also be responsible for ensuring tickets are responded to within service level agreements and come up with ideas to reduce the amount of tickets that come into the service desk and for carrying out upgrades on key systems.

Whilst not essential, we are particularly interested to hear from applicants who can demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills, who is able to listen and can gather salient information to make effective decisions quickly.

It is essential that you are able to work on your own or as part of a team and have excellent communication skills, as you will be explaining technical issues to non-specialists. You will be an organised person who has good time management, planning and co-ordination skills and has working knowledge of SITS and SQL. It is desirable that you have knowledge of PL/SQL, PHP or Java.
