Technical Support Engineer

Paying up to £35,000 Per annum DOE

Our Client:

This role is with one of Reeds core Edinburgh clients, they are looking for a 3rd line support engineer to come and join the ever growing support team in supporting all aspects of the business.

The role:
  • Responsible for supporting the implementation and configuration of Office 365 this will including; SharePoint, Intune, direct routing Skype/Teams,
  • Supporting the clients Systems infrastructure.
  • Leading infrastructure projects

Competency/Skills Required:
  • Knowledge and exposure to virtualisation platforms
  • Knowledge and exposure of supporting an Exchange on-line or MS Exchange messaging service
  • Active Directory
  • O365
  • Knowledge and exposure to VoIP and SIP. Knowledge of SIP messaging, call flows and analysis of packet captures
  • Working knowledge of IP networks and TCP/IP skills

Experience Required:
  • CCNA, CompTIA Network+
  • ITIL or ISO20000
  • Exchange on-line or MS Exchange messaging service
  • Oracle or SQL Server administration skills
  • Linux
