Successful global asset management business based in Surrey are seeking an IT Manager with experience of availability and capacity oversight. This newly created role enables you to inject your management and customer service skills into a new environment focusing on the monitoring and reporting across the whole IT infrastructure. The position requires you to be highly proactive and a hands on individual capable of taking responsibility in their role and always showing intiative and ideas for process improvements. If you have previous experience in an oversight role, familiar with cloud services and managing a technology estate of hardware and software tools, and compassionate when working with people, this role is for you.

As IT Capacity Manager your duties will include:
  • Supporting technical teams ensuring consistency, visibility and accuracy of reporting for all technical services
  • Fix availability and capacity issues across the globe to ensure availability of critical resources at a reasonable cost
  • Produce governance and reporting packs for compliance improvement and risk management
  • Keep up to date with changing availability, meeting strict SLA's

We are looking for the following skills and experience:
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends where necessary
  • Availabilty and capacity mangagement background
  • Motivating and able to influence team members
  • Experience of working to meet business needs in a regulated environment
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 10
