DAYS based Electrical Maintenance engineering opportunity based near Crewe at a FMCG firm

Your new company
Your new company are an established manufacturing organisation, specialising in blow moulding and extrusion. They provide high calibre products for multiple high profile clients in the FMCG industry.

Your new role
In your new role as an multi-skilled maintenance engineer, you will work a shift pattern of 06:00 - 18:00 DAYS (Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Sat and Sunday and Week 2 - Weds, Thurs and Friday) . Primarily, you will be responsible for general machine maintenance, supporting the team, PLC fault finding activity, attending to break downs, ensuring the manufacturing facility and it's equipment is running as efficiently as possible. You will liaise with the engineering management, amongst other teams, ensuring all PM's are conducted and followed up accordingly. Naturally, you are responsible for the safe work of yourself and other colleagues within the production environment.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role as the electrical maintenance engineer, ideally you will hold an apprentice trained NVQ as a skilled professional with an electrical engineering qualification (HNC/ONC and 17th/18th edition etc). Experience with injection and/or blow moulding and working in a FMCG or food production environment would be beneficial. You adopt a can do attitude with a strong reliability focus and a passion for proactive problem solving methods. Adopting a hands-on approach to proactive fault finding comes naturally to you.

What you'll get in return
