IT Support Analyst, Whitstable, £18,000 - £21,000

We are currently recruiting for a IT Support Analyst to join our clients company based in Whitstable on a permanent basis. The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for providing 1st line support to a variety of end users. The IT Support analyst will be responsible for providing support for Windows 10, Office 365 and assisting with Server issues.

The IT Support Analyst will require a full driving licence and have excellent communication skills.

Personal skills required for the IT Support Analyst:
  • Excellent communication skills (specifically Verbal)
  • Professional Attitude
  • Be forthcoming and have a 'can do' attitude
  • Have a good understanding of impact and urgency
  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support
  • Escalate tickets effectively if required

Technical skills required for the IT Support Analyst:
  • Ability to identify and solve PC/Server hardware and software issues
  • Excellent Microsoft knowledge including Windows and Server O/S
  • Good understanding of Networking infrastructure (LAN/vLAN/WAN)
  • Good knowledge of routers/firewalls
  • Good knowledge of switches
