Are you experienced in Procurement and looking to branch out to have wider responsibility? Are you able to work effectively in a hands-on role as well as seeing the strategic objectives? Do you want to get involved with an organisation during a significant period of change, and play an instrumental part in that change?

Based in London, the Procurement Manager will work closely with the Finance Director and Operations Director to have a broad role that not only oversees the procurement strategy for the £40m turnover Health organisation, but also focus on the cost improvement programme, identify opportunities for savings, and apply a holistic strategy to reduce costs and gain effective procurement initiatives.

You'll be a strong people person who is able to build excellent relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and suppliers and have the foresight and initiative to work both proactively and reactively.

In return for your efforts, you will ultimately play a huge part in the success of the organisation as the ever rising need for cost effectiveness continues to be a focus. Your work will directly influence how many users the organisation can serve, and with this role having plenty of autonomy, there will never be a dull day!

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of procurement within the Healthcare sector, specifically sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, and will have a history of driving costs down and seeing the bigger picture when looking at opportunities to buy and save.
