Structural Engineering Leader- up to 80k - W1

Large international firm with 100 staff in London seek to establish a structural design presence in London. They are well known for their buildings design work in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The firm employ over 18,000 staff. They currently do not have structural engineering capability in London and wish to put this in place. They are looking to recruit an engineering leader who is recognised as a leading edge practitioner who can innovate and work closely with other member firms within their group. You will assist in the development of a team in London going forwards. The role will include hands on design, initially working on overseas projects while developing the London business.

This is a unique opportunity to be involved at the early stages of building their brand and business operating at a senior level.

The role will comprise the following:

Leading structural engineering in the UK and establishing a core unit within the UK based in London
Establishing capability and building a structural engineering team
Working closely with member firms in the joint pursuit and delivery of design services
Business development working closely together with the business development director
Working with and supporting the other structural engineering services in other offices
Develop best practice and innovation
Develop the processes and procedures for delivery of services
Accountable for the delivery of services
