My client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Support Analyst to join the IT support team in Southampton

Working within the IT department, you will be the first point of contact for responsible for providing technical telephone and remote support to customers, supporting the engineering & field teams

Responsibilities will include:
  • Answer support calls, providing technical support to customers.
  • Be part of a team that monitors and maintains the wireless/fibre network.
  • Provide out of hours support on a rota basis - one out of three weeks.
  • Support the core network and network building teams to configure equipment under the direction of the team leader.

  • The ability to priorities workload between multiple customers, incidents or inquiries.
  • A flexible approach; driving, supporting, coordinating and delivering.
  • Motivated by being part of an organisation with the ability to push through and resolve issues.
  • A pragmatic approach to problem solving.
  • Strong organisational skills.

The successful candidate should be able to evidence knowledge of; networking, configuring network devices, IP technologies, routing and switching.

You will ideally have customer support experience, a University degree in computer science and the capacity to learn new skills in a technical environment.
