SMC Monitoring Group is made up of four of the UK's leading security businesses; Custodian Monitoring Services, Remote Video Response, Visual Verification and Mentor Business Systems.

Security Monitoring Centres (SMC) is now looking to recruit a Desk Based Digital Account Manager to be based at our Monitoring Centre in Nottingham, supporting our Visual Verification and Custodian Businesses. This is a full time, office based position.

The Desk Based Account Manager will process contracts, new business leads and customer service activities. The role holder will also be responsible for actively generating leads and opportunities by engaging in proactive telephone conversations and web campaigns interacting with both new prospects and existing accounts.

Responsibilities for this role Include:

Generate quotations, price lists, contracts, new business proposals and sales materials focusing on generating new and organic sales from existing and prospective calls - both outbound and inbound
Tele-canvass follow up call on outstanding quotations to win the business
Promote product and marketplace awareness, providing advice on SMC Custodian and Vision products and services, seeking new avenues and opportunities.
Work with the UKSM on bespoke promotional requirements on larger opportunities
Provide exceptional customer service via the telephone and email or letter and other correspondence
Maintain existing and build new customer relationships, completing CRM databases accordingly
Resolving queries and representing the customer in their dealings with SMC Custodian and Vision
Compile management reports in line with department requirements and timescales
Full knowledge of the Sales Administration Process for SMC, compiling contracts to time and process, follow procedures and provide auditable records
Process billing requirements in line with company / department procedures ensuring accuracy and full audit
To be successful in this role, you will:

Be able to open closed doors, being a breath of fresh air.
Have high degree pf proficiency with Word, Excel & PowerPoint, essential. Additional digital skills an advantage
Be able to report back to management in a variety of formats, keeping records and documentation up to date and accurate.
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Be able to work in a team and communicate effectively at all levels
Ability to prioritise own workload and manage time effectively
Motivated and driven to achieving targets and goals
Experience within a sales environment an advantage.
Desire to progress within a sales career
