Stantec has an exciting opportunity for a Transactional Manager to join our team in Warrington on a permanent basis

Key responsibilities:

·Management of overall AP & expense function and the day to day transactional operations.

·Proactive attitude towards workflow management and implementation

·Direct line management for team of three

·Involvement in transition from E1 JD Edwards ERP System to Oracle ERP System

·Management of ledger control and balance sheet reconciliations for accounts payable and Expenses

·Assistance with processing transactions when required

·Responsible for the authorisation of payments runs and ensuring invoices are accurately processed and reconciled

·Setting KPIs and Objectives for team to proactively work towards

·Reporting on KPI's to Senior Management

·Ensure the group remains SOX compliant, review information processed into system is accurate and in line with agreed business processes

·Reviewing and approving journal posting

·Oversea and provide weekly cashflow forecasting to the treasury team

·Assist with the monthly production of the P&L and reporting

·Other balance sheet reconciliations and ownership outside of the AP function

·Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback

·Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, andwhich are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role

·In all internal and external contact, present a professional and positive image of the department and Stantec UK as well as maintaining mutually constructive, positive and beneficial relationships.

·Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality

Essential:

·Proven Line Management Experience

·Prior experience in ERP systems required

·Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel)

·Possess strong communication skills

·Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.

·Strong organisational, leadership, training, and mentoring skills.

·Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude.
