My Client a Global Pharmaceutical Company has opened a new vacancy within their Commercial Operations team and is looking to recruit a Global Operations Services Project Manager on an initial 6 Month rolling contract to be based at their offices in Surrey.

The Role:

The Global Operations Services Project Manager will work across IDM & AFME in relation to Commercial Operations owned platforms and processes. The role will manage multiple projects across multiple markets in the region in partnership and collaboration with a matrix Global Commercial Operations Organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take the lead in key assigned projects in Sales & Marketing and Meetings & Events functions in Program & Knowledge Management Team: Full project life-cycle
  • Work closely with the other SMS & M&E Managers in the team to add value to projects and activities across the function on a needs basis, alleviating pressure from the team during peak/busy periods
  • Collaborate & align with SMS/M&E country teams to ensure quality implementation of BAU services & projects in a timely fashion and ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Effective partnership with key enabling partners across Business Technology/Digital/Global Procurement and any supporting partner vendors
  • Manage expectations across multiple stakeholders, collect all facts and support timely decision making
  • Provide regional oversight and point of contact to access appropriate support and resources from wider teams to successfully implement projects/programs in assigned country(s)/BU(s).
  • Partner with key/senior stakeholders in region to capture, record & share knowledge
  • Maintain strong relationship with relevant stakeholders

Skills/Experience Required:
  • University level (Life Sciences background is preferred)
  • 10+ years of Project management experience - PMP/Agile/Prince 2 other professional qualifications would be an advantage.
  • CRM/Veeva/Reporting platforms Experience will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies would be desirable: Six Sigma, Lean, other
  • Experience in leading and contributing in end to end projects in a cross functional environment is essential
  • Strong team player with experience in virtual working beneficial
  • Commercial Operations support experience
  • Understanding of pharma legal/compliance requirements
