Our client is a well-known building society with headquarters in Swindon; As one of the largest savings and mortgage providers in the UK, 15 million members are at the heart of everything they do.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Communications Manager for a 6 month contract based in Swindon.

Purpose of the Role:
  • Role will sit in business change in the platform squad for modern workplace. The role will be business change and comms.

    Refreshing/ updating Intranet and internal Content - How do workers access and use the Intranet.
  • Business change role helping with awareness and content creation to support the deployment of technology across the company.

As a Commuications Manager you will be responsible for:
  • To work with colleagues across the company to maintain and develop content across the Intranet
  • To work with colleagues to support business change aspects of the rollout
  • To develop material to assist rollout activities
  • To develop, create and implement internal comms on the internal intranet which can provide effective communication of relevant information/guides to employees and stakeholders
  • To work with Editorial and design teams to ensure internal communications follow house style, welfare guidelines and support the consistent use of the Nationwide's Brand values
  • To continually evaluate the success of internal communications and intranet working with a broad range of stakeholders
  • To work with internal stakeholders to provide knowledge, support and expertise to editors in all departments

What we require from the candidate:
  • Strong Internal Content creation within Large organisations
  • Ability to build and refresh large intranet sites
  • Experience of creating internal digital content
  • Business change experience
  • Experience with internal Social media Teams, Yammer etc
