Fleet Compliance Supervisor Job, PR4 location, full time, £28,000 - £33,000 per annum (experience dependant).

Your new company
You will be working for a European logistics company who specialise in transport operations. The company manage over three hundred and fifty vehicles in both the United Kingdom and the EU. Consequently you will be liaising with stakeholders from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. This is something which the organisation prides itself on.

Their approach to business is tailored and faced paced, this allows them to achieve high volume and quick service delivery. Organisation and attention to detail are fundamental requirements for this role, as the company continue to expand. They are now looking for a new member of their team to co-ordinate and supervisor their growing fleet.

Your new role
Duties and responsibilities of this position include:
  • Looking after the fleet
  • Ensuring the vehicles are road-worthy
  • Effectively communicate with drivers across Europe
  • On boarding and off boarding vehicles
  • Walk round checks
  • Managing drivers hours - ensure that the rules associated to the tachograph are followed
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Arranging MOTS
  • Reporting system issues such as tachograph, tracking, surveillance
  • Registering accidents/incidents
  • Attending GBA workshops
  • Arranging vehicle repair call outs in a timely manner
  • Ad-hoc administration duties

What you'll need to succeed
You be successful in this role you have to had experience in fleet management. You have to be effective and confident working within a fast paced environment as time is of the essence. You need to have vehicle mechanical knowledge and awareness of fleets. You need to have experience in Microsoft Office and be confident using this software.

Desirable experience includes a transport or heavy goods vehicle experience, a HGV license (preferably class one, although this license is not essential) and international/national CPC. Please note that these are desirable not essentials.
