We've started the search for a General Ledger & Treasury Manager to join our Aviva Finance Operations (AFO) team in Norwich. You could join a highly effective and agile team managing resources and providing excellent services to the rest of Aviva's Finance function. This team, under the leadership of our Global Process Owners, is responsible for our core finance operational and reporting processes.

The day to day will involve managing your own portfolio of delivery in the following areas:
  • Daily liquidity and cash monitoring
  • Oversight and management of liquidity and cashflow
  • Production of the quarterly cashflow forecasting
  • Leading and managing change which enhances and progresses end to end processes
  • Driving improvements, efficiencies and deliver shared service benefits
  • Working collaboratively to ensure expectations are managed and delivered for the business and its customers
  • Accountability for delivery and completeness of the UK & Ireland GI General Ledger
  • Oversight and control over the UKGI intangible fixed assets and adhoc general ledger population
  • Providing oversight of Offshore Ireland month end and financial control team, taking ultimate accountability for completeness and quality
  • Inputs into the half year and full year group reporting for UK and Ireland GI

What skills & experience are we looking for?
  • Ideally a qualified accountant with experience
  • Core finance knowledge including general ledger accounting
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Team management and coaching
  • Strong understanding of Risk Management and Control Frameworks
  • Consistent results in delivering BAU & Change
  • Broad knowledge of generic businesses processes and systems
