Location: Wiltshire

Salary: £25-£35k

This is a great opportunity for an experienced 2nd/3rd line IT Support Engineer to become the next integral part of our rapidly expanding team and business. Working as a key escalation point for the Service Desk team, while incorporating exciting opportunities for project and infrastructure work.


Our client is seeking a proven technical professional, equipped with the skills and ability to deliver service at the extremely high standard our customers rightfully expect from us. An enthusiastic "can do" individual who will be a welcomed addition to a positive team in a great environment. Willingness to learn from others and educate the more junior members of the team, while striving to benefit and add value for our customers.

Essentials Skills:
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience working on a service desk to include incident, problem and change management
  • Methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2016, 2019
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
  • Working within an IT Security framework
  • Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 & Azure
  • Managing wired & wireless networks, including switches, routers, firewalls
  • Technical backup and disaster recovery

Desirable Skills
  • IPv4 networking, VLANs,
  • Secure networking, VPNs
  • Experience working within an ITIL framework
  • Microsoft Azure / Office 365 / Modern Desktop certifications
  • Penetration Testing / Vulnerability Scanning
  • Microsoft SQL
  • EMC, DELL, HP SAN technologies
