I am currently working with an amazing Digital Company who are looking at expanding their already well established team at their offices based in Manchester City Centre.

They are looking for a DevOps Manager to support the growth of their business. You'll work closely with multi-disciplinary teams (product managers, delivery managers, business architects, engineers) to build digital services for a wide variety of projects. They are looking for someone to lead on technical strategy, build high performing teams, mentor DevOps engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

The team provides automation, tooling and cloud infrastructure and are experts in agile multi-disciplinary teams, and they're part of a larger central team that can take on bigger pieces of work. Their infrastructure is a mix of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, making the most of Infrastructure as Code technologies like Terraform, Packer, Jenkins and git for version control.

You will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of secure, scalable, resilient cloud-based infrastructure using an Infrastructure as Code approach including leading technical delivery for large/multiple teams or major projects or platforms. You will direct improvements of infrastructure standards and processes to ensure you are role modelling good practice. You will work with delivery teams to create and maintain continuous deployment practices and work within and support a DevOps culture. The role will require you to line manage, coach & mentor DevOps engineers in a community of practice

To Apply I am looking for a Senior DevOps expert with experience leading technical delivery in multi-disciplinary agile/DevOps environments. You will have significant experience managing cloud based infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Compute) and using configuration management tooling (e.g. Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible) and solid skills and experience within Unix/Linux environments. You will have deep understanding of the full web technology stack (network, TCP/IP, DNS, routing, HTTP/S) and the ability to adapt and learn new technologies

This is a fantastic opportunity offering not only great benefits and working environment but also really interesting projects, if you are interested please get in touch.
