Why SLC?

Do you want to work in a dynamic, customer-focused organisation? Do you have what it takes to create dynamic content in a range of styles and formats across a range of multimedia channels? Do you have a track record of writing compelling content and integrating new media into marketing campaigns, ensuring it's properly planned, executed and evaluated?

If so, we might just have the job for you.

What's the Job?

Student Loans Company is looking for a Content Editor to create, edit and disseminate compelling and customer-focused content. The main objective will be to produce compelling content, ensuring it is written to an excellent standard and incorporates input from key stakeholders throughout the business. Remaining factually correct at all times.

Working closely with the Executive Editor, your main focus will be on producing original content in line with the style guide, then reviewing, condensing, correcting and arranging material (text, articles, images, sound, video, or film) and preparing it for final presentation / publication. You will also review multimedia content (and correct as necessary), ensuring that content is maintained to the very highest quality standards. Working closely with other marketing teams to ensure consistency across the different channels, it's important to be able to liaise and communicate with a wide variety of internal colleagues, stakeholders and external suppliers.

How do I apply?

You should have experience within a marketing / communications based environment and be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (or hold similar industry standard). You will also be computer literate in all Microsoft applications and the internet (Plain English trained is desirable but not essential), as well as having experience of content management systems. You will have proven, strong organisational skills (meeting deadlines, working under pressure, managing timetables, prioritising work etc).

Please see attached job description for a full range of responsibilities and requirements.

If the above description sounds like you please apply below and a member of our dedicated Recruitment Team will be in touch.

Please note - As part of the selection process, SLC uses third parties to perform a number of pre-employment checks including reference, criminal record and credit reference.
